Activities

Awareness Raising

The aim is to increase visibility on the benefits of an EII as one of the social protection schemes through extensive media coverage as well as a proactively initiated political debate with civil society organisations.

Training

The objectives are to increase the workers’ participation in the political debate advocating for the adoption of a statutory EII according to ILO standards and to increase the coordination among federations to jointly support the workers’ demand.

Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue

For establishing a permanent structure of an EII in Bangladesh, the tripartite constituents will engage in a discussion forum to jointly decide on the specificities of the scheme.
